TOYOTA NAVIGATION SYSTEM, Unreliable!

Toyota Navigation System , Really ?

I revised, that means updated, my Toyota Navigation System in June 2018 thru Tokyo Toyopet.

But I can not believe its update results reasonable or not.

I must update it because new ways are constructed and completed invisible previous version. We must utilize this new way more convenient for automobile.

But otherwise, this new update give me unbelievable guidance.

The previous version I used until June 2018, show me so reasonable route that I can confirm.

But new latest version, show unbelievable route, more distant and takes more time. And also show me different route for forward and backward.

For example, on latest Saturday, on way back from Shiroyama, Kanagawa to Ome,Tokyo.

1st Step     Show me route to home. Estimated arrival 15:55

 This showed backward route  is different from forward route.

So I ignore this showed route then drive on forward route reverse.

What happens ? You car realize early arrival time 2nd step.

2nd Step      Show me route to home. Estimated arrival 15:41

So I continue to ignore this showed route again, then drive on forward route reverse.

What happens ? You car realize more earlier arrival time final step.

Final Step         show me arrival time 15:37

I must conclude Toyota Navigation System gets worse than previous one by update of June 2018.

This is a report of selected one route of many routes. If we do not know available and reasonable route, we are forced to drive longer distant and time.

代車の三菱ek-wagon

訳有って、代車を利用させて頂いている。
三菱自動車の軽自動車、ek-wagonです。
初年度登録は平成3年。走行距離は代車と言うだけあって、12万キロメートル。タイヤは整備が行き届いている様で、問題がない。
しかし、この車、28年間も使い続けられて、車の鏡とも思われる。
私達が預かってから、少し綺麗にしました。
代車の宿命なのでしょうか、余り愛情が注がれていない様です。

先週末、この車で長瀞と陣馬山にでかけました。

良いドライブができました。
